Merrill Rusling offers a set of granted patents and related know-how for high efficiency power systems for Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) and combined cycle (SOFC/Internal Combustion Engine; SOFC/Gas Turbine; and SOFC/PEM fuel cell) applications.  This IP portfolio protects investments in commercialization for both internal and external projects.  Merrill Rusling can co-develop these technologies with investors/partners or license specific technologies under commercial terms. 

FUEL CELL SYSTEMS and COMPONENT TECHNOLOGIES 
SOFC systems are useful for converting fuel into electricity, heat and hydrogen.  Merrill Rusling is developing advanced sensors, control strategies and software to enable stable, high efficiency operation of SOFC systems while co-producing hydrogen for a downstream process.
